Hearts 9 and 10 contain the late relationship scenes. Reaching the top tells you it is time to shift attention to the ring and story checklist.

Elsie is the person who provides the Engagement Ring recipe. Once it is in your recipes, the next stop is a crafting station rather than another relationship milestone.

Craft the Engagement Ring at the Forge
Use the Forge to craft the Engagement Ring. Keep the completed ring in your inventory or in a clearly marked storage slot while you finish the rest of the checklist.
The ring alone is not enough. You still need 10 hearts and any remaining story requirements must be complete.
Move from ring preparation to marriage
When all three requirements are ready, use the marriage guide for the proposal and wedding order. A successful proposal leads to a scheduled ceremony.
